HOWLING STACKERS at the Colorado Open on March 4th, 2023

5th March 2023
Douglas County High School gym sure was busy and noisy last Saturday morning for the Colorado Open Sport Stacking State Championships!  105 competing stackers were at the tables,  ranging in age from 5 years old to 78 years old! It was quite a racket with the cups being stacked up and down in a flurry of speed! The 22 member TTES school stacking team was led by Dr. Marina Bonello, Mr. Matt Le Claire, Mrs. Regina Luber, Mrs. Kimberly McCarthy and Mrs. Michelle McCluskey. All  22  children took part in all individual and doubles events for their age category and, additionally, 11 stackers competed with a parent on Child-Parent Doubles. The medal haul was quite impressive: many TTES stackers made it into the top three positions in the majority of the various age divisions. TTES stackers won 10 individual medals and 24 medals in the doubles events. We thank Mrs. Kelly Colasuonno for her role in procuring equipment and t-shirts for the entire team.
